is offered for the enjoyment of our members and guests.
2008 LEAGUE INFORMATION
Golf
Association
The Golf Association plays every
Wednesday beginning April 23rd
and ending in September. Golfers
compete weekly in various 18-hole
individual events. Weekly multiple
gross and net winners are awarded gift
cards based on their score. A member
may play anytime and with anyone on Golf
Association Wednesdays to compete in the
event. An optional skins game is also
available each week.
To become a Golf Association member each
golfer must have a USGA handicap with
the Links at Northfork and pay a $55
prize fund fee. The prize fund is
returned to the GA membership weekly in
the form of gift cards, with a portion
allocated to the Club Championship which
is played in August.
Golf Association members receive a base
green fee rate of $30 plus tax and a
cart rate of $9.40 plus tax on Golf
Association Wednesdays only. If you
become a Patron or Player Club member
further discounts are available.
Tuesday 9-Hole League
The Tuesday night 9-hole league
begins play on April 22nd. Each event is a shotgun start. Start
times generally occur between 5:30 and
6:15, depending upon daylight and
mid-day golf outings.
The league is a two man round robin
event. The season is split into two
halves and each portion of the season
must be paid in advance. Each member is
required to have a handicap with the
Links at Northfork.
The pre-season league meeting for the
Tuesday league will be April 8th
at 6:00. Cost for the 1st
half of the season is $252.50 (includes:
green and cart fees, handicap, banquet
and $5 weekly prize fund). The second
half of the season begins July 8th
and will cost $230.50.
Lady
Links
The Lady Links play a nine-hole event
each Monday evening beginning April 28th.
Events are shotgun starts at 6:00 or
6:15 or tee times beginning at 4:30 (tee
times depend on the number of league
participants).
Each member must pay a $22 league fee
which covers a handicap and trophies for
the league. The weekly rate is $16.50
walking and $21.50 riding. A $3 prize
fund is built into each weekly rate and
is paid out in gift cards. The
pre-season meeting for the Lady Links
will be held April 7th at
6:00.
Couples League
New for 2008, the Links at Northfork is
organizing couple leagues for Thursday
or Friday evenings. The leagues would
start in late May/early June and end in
mid-August. The league would be a
nine-hole shotgun event starting at 6:15
weekly. Projected cost would be $24.50
per person per night, which includes
green and cart fees and a $3 prize
